Week 1 Recap Last week I went 3-3. I
should have never been sentimental about picking the
Crew to win at KC and was surprised that New England
beat the Galaxy in their own backyard on opening day.
I realize now that it’s going to be hard to predict
what the Red Bulls will do this season and shouldn’t
be too hard to predict what RSL will do, which is nothing.
Week 2 Predictions
Chivas USA @ D.C. United
– Having L.A. boys John O’Brien and Ante
Razov on the same field together is going to spell trouble
for opponents all season. Chivas USA 1-0.
New England @ New York – There’s no way
that the Red Bulls won’t win with Pele and Shakira
in the house. Red Bulls 2-1.
Wizards @ Houston – Houston isn’t going
to lose many games at Robertson Stadium this year and
Brian Ching might be playing this season for a big-time
European contract instead of a spot on the U.S. World
Cup roster. Houston 2-0.
RSL @ Dallas – If you ever do see me pick RSL
make sure to call me, because you can be guaranteed
that it’s a typo. Dallas 3-0.
Crew @ Rapids – No Pablo Mastroeni (red card)
means no points for the home team. Crew 2-1.
Fire @ Galaxy – The Galaxy should have their heads
in this one. Besides, Landon can’t possibly be
planning to coast all the way up until Cup time. Galaxy
3-2.
