Mark Lincir’s MLS Picks – Week 5
Can you say 6-0? This weekend’s picks are like
taking candy from a baby. I’ll be right back in
it if everyone who SHOULD win does win. But stranger
things have happened and that’s why my record
sucks right now.
L.A. Galaxy @ RSL – The Galaxy need to beat the
worst team in the League, otherwise new GM Alexi Lalas
is sure to be on the phone Monday setting up some interviews
for potential coaches. Galaxy 2-0.
FC Dallas @ D.C. United – United has been playing
some pretty good soccer and chances are that Dallas
is going to have a let down after a big win over Kansas
City last weekend. D.C. United 1-0.
Wizards @ Crew – The Crew are coming off a huge
win in L.A. last weekend, but the Wizards are good.
Wizards 2-1.
Houston @ Colorado – No way does Kinnear let his
boys lose to the Rapids, even if they are away from
home. Arial assassin Brian Ching needs to step up and
bury some goals to prove that his opening weekend tally
of four goals in one game against the Rapids wasn’t
just a fluke. Houston 3-1.
Red Bulls @ Chivas USA – Bob Bradley could be
on the hot seat already if they piss away a chance to
beat one of the worst teams in the league at home. JOB
needs to start and play a lot if Chivas are going to
start putting some points on the board. Chivas USA 2-1.
Chicago @ New England – It shouldn’t be
close, and if it is, I want my money back. The Fire
continue their mind-bending season opening road trip
that still has plenty of mileage left on it. New England
should smack the Fire 3-0.
