Mark Lincir’s MLS Picks – Week 4
Due to technical difficulties and the fact that you
should never let a writer be responsible for posting
something on the Internet, I didn’t get my picks
posted in time. But I am going to be honest and show
you what I had written on last Friday. Yes, I could
have changed all of it and not had the Galaxy choking
in the waning moments of the game or the Red Bulls getting
their asses kicked at home by D.C. United. By going
1-3 this past weekend I dropped to 7-15 on the year…not
good. But I haven’t given up hope yet.
Week 4
D.C. @ Red Bulls: The three ties the Red Bulls have
are better than a kick in the ass, but the new ownership
has got to be dying for a win. Mo better produce three
points over a hard-to-predict D.C. side. Red Bulls 1-0.
RSL at Houston: How loud can you say BLOW OUT! Can you
call in a forfeit and save the organization all that
flight and per diem money? Houston’s gotta be
pissed about getting waxed at D.C. last weekend and
will take it out on lowly RSL. Houston 3-0.
The Crew @ Galaxy: With my luck, Landon will decide
to take this weekend off. The Crew are way worse than
I thought they’d be and didn’t get any help
when Danny S. went down to injury last weekend. Galaxy
2-0.
K.C. at FC Dallas: The battle of Western Conference
heavyweights will end in a deadlock. That’s right,
I’m predicting a tie! Wait, that sucks. K.C. wins
in a tight one 1-0 and people start bringing up Bob
Gansler’s name as the next U.S. National Team
coach after Bruce gets sacked.
