adidas Celebrate Messi’s 4th Straight FIFA Ballon d’Or
Lionel Messi is the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2012 winner. He was elected by the coaches and captains of the national teams of the 209 FIFA Member Associations and a selected group of media. Messi was been elected in front of runner-up Cristiano Ronaldo and Andres Iniesta, who came third.
To celebrate Leo Messi’s unprecedented fourth straight FIFA Ballon d’Or, adidas has launched a congratulatory film, “Cuatro Años Dorado” (Four Golden Years).
Watching Lionel play has been such a pleasure. Unlike many star athletes, Messi values team above himself. The only issue I have with him is he has been performing all this wonderful skill and talent with Barcelona. If he were smart, he would immediately demand a transfer to Portsmouth. (It’s okay to dream, right?)
