Leading up to soccer superstar Lionel Messi’s arrival in New York for the Argentina vs. Brazil showdown, adidas asked soccer fans to share what light gets them on the field. Thousands of fans across the country responded and those who did received the ultimate payoff-their name lighting up the world’s greatest soccer player on the eve of this epic match.

Fans who joined the conversation on the adidas<http://www.facebook.com/adidasBasketball> soccer Facebook<http://www.facebook.com/adidassoccer> page saw their names projected on a massive, moving image of Argentina star and his adizero f50 cleats – the lightest in the game – displayed across a prominent skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan (near Madison Square Garden) on the eve of Argentina v. Brazil. The fans who engaged the most saw their names appear brightest in the 8,600-square foot projection.
